Aamir Khan Sahab red light for Dhobi Ghat

The globetrotting, jet setting Ace Khan whose best known for his acting prowess has been donning the garb of ‘producer extraordinaire’ off late with impeccable flair.

Scheduled to return to Mumbai today morning, Aamir has been on a whirlwind tour with promotions for Peepli Live in the U.K and the world premiere of wife Kiran Rao’s directorial debut Dhobi Ghat in Toronto; both of which are home productions under the Aamir Khan Films banner.

While viewers in Toronto had the chance to catch the film at the premiere and various other screenings at the film festival, Aamir wanted the press to keep mum on the film and refrain from divulging nitty-gritty details as its theatrical release is still miles away.

In an effort to keep a closed lid on the project, the protective Khan handpicked the select media he interacted with and even chivalrously elected to let wife, Kiran bask in the festival spotlight as the film marks a first for her.
