KARAN JOHAR WANTS TO WORK WITH AAMIR KHAN

Though it's well known that Karan Johar loves to work with Shahrukh in his films, but the celebrity filmmaker is not averse to the idea of working with the other Khan, we mean Aamir Khan too.

Reportedly, in a recent interview the filmmaker admitted that he has huge respect for Aamir Khan's talent and would like to work with him some day. Though there are no films in the pipeline with Aamir, but it seems KJO has no qualms working with the other Khans as well.

The filmmaker is also upset over the fact that none of his recent films brought him any award. In a candid admission the filmmaker said, "I am very touchy about awards and I am disappointed that none of my films won any award despite being critically acclaimed."

3 IDIOTS COMPLETES 50 DAYS

3 IDIOTS has completed 50 days at the box office and after enjoying a long run ever since it's Christmas release, the film is now making way for shahrukh khan my name is khan which is all set to create havoc at the box office. This Rajkumar Hirani directed film has so far netted 198 crores just from India and it should be a matter of few more days before it crosses the 200 crores milestone.

2010 had begun with a red, courtesy none of the newer releases managing to do anything whatsoever at the box office. However, the only good news was the ongoing success of 3 IDIOTS which continued to rake in moolah all through its run. The film is now the biggest money spinner of all times and an all time blockbuster at that.

Aamir Khan has now scored two consecutive centuries in two years with 3 IDIOTS following GHAJINI that had netted close to 115 crores. The film has not just broken records but created such records which seem unassailable for many more months to come.

Though in the current year there is no '100 crores' money-spinner that one can expect from Aamir Khan, courtesy his only release being DHOBHI GHAT that is targeted at a niche audience, it would be interesting to see what does Aamir Khan sign next. Perhaps a 300 crores blockbuster may just be right the corner in 2011.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA WANTS TO BE AMIR KHAN

It seems Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra wants to be as perfectionist as fellow-actor Aamir Khan.As it is Piggy Chops is perhaps the most talented singers amongst our growing actor-singer community. No show is complete without a request for a song from the sexy diva. So when Karan Johar requested her to sing on popular television show 'Lift Kara De', she promptly sang without much ado-'Jhumka gira re Bareilly ke bazaar mein'- the famous Sadhana number from the film MERA SAAYA. But after the shot was canned, she was unhappy with her attempt and wanted to dub it! Karan nonchalantly said: "Now you want to be Aamir Khan? And like Aamir you will come before anybody else to dub for it too!"
