Aamir Khan Sahab unique marketing continues with DELHI BELLY

First Look promo of Aamir Khan Sahab next production DELHI BELLY is out and it seems that the word 'belly' in the title has been taken rather seriously by the makers. Reason being that toilet humour has dominated each and every frame of the First Look that has been revealed so far.

'This is a total shock as the makers seem to be totally unpretentious about their latest outing', says an avid film buff, 'The way DELHI BELLY has opened up six months prior to its July release, seems like the makers are again continuing their philosophy of projecting their project for what it is, just as they did in case of DHOBI GHAT as well as PEEPLI [LIVE]. The message is clear - 'So here we are with our film and we as well as product are like this only. Take it or leave it.''

For the uninitiated, the promo which lasts only a few seconds shows a man trying to relieve himself, only to find the flush tank initially not functioning and later falling over his head, hence throwing him out of the toilet.

'All this while we had been hearing about DELHI BELLY being an Indian version of an AMERICAN PIE film', says an industry insider, 'Due to that one expected an abundance of babes and sexual content to cater to one segment of audience - mainly youth. However the way DELHI BELLY has made a first impression, it seems there is a lot more waiting to be unveiled.'

Well, one may still want to believe that a sudden jolt like this was again part of some unique marketing campaign that would have come out of the mind of Aamir Khan Sahab. Stay tuned for more updates!

Aamir Khan Sahab to play villain in Dhoom 3

Dhoom, India's version of the hi-octane thriller films is one of the most successful series in Bollywood. The much talked about third part of Dhoom has finally got the booster shot it needed. It is now official that Aamir Khan Sahab will be playing the villain in Dhoom: 3.

Confirming this Aamir says, "It is indeed a pleasure to be working with Yashji and Adi once again. Dhoom is a great franchise, most entertaining and full of fun. Every time I hear the theme tune of Dhoom it brings a swing to my step. Victor's script really won me over and I look forward to working with him."

Says producer Yash Chopra, "It's a great pleasure to have Aamir Khan Sahab working with YRF once again. It's even more special that he will be doing Dhoom: 3. I am terribly excited with what an actor like Aamir Khan Sahab will bring to the Dhoom franchise with his unique star power and level of performance. Adi and Victor have worked over a year to bring out, what I can now confidently say, is possibly one of the best scripts coming out of YRF and I am sure that with Aamir Khan Sahab and Adi together, they will both create magic to give our audience one of the most exciting films they have ever seen."

Coming to the rest of the cast, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will be seen in their previous avatars of Jai Dixit and Ali respectively.

Produced by Aditya Chopra, Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Vijay is the writer of all three Dhoom films and has also directed Tashan.

The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release.
